Gata de Gorgos Centenarian

They call her Tia Maria in Gata de Gorgos and last week she celebrated her 100th birthday . She is the first in the town to reach a three figure birthday . The church held a special mass and the village a special party . Tia Maria has two children , six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren and until recently she was sweeping the pavement outside her door .
