Our B&B is situated in the “heart” of the Axarquia (east Costa del Sol), nearby the old town of VELEZ-MALAGA.

In TORRE DEL MAR is also the connection point to the motorway (N340), so that it is very comfortable to visit all well known cities like NERJA, MALAGA, GRANADA, Cordoba or Ronda.

Our 7.800 sqm large, terraced property is in 200m height on a hill. A few typical Spanish Fincas unite the environment with the almonds, olives trees and the vineyards.

Enjoy your stay at our plantation where we cultivate Mangos, Peaches, Figs and some Lemons on the basis of ecological criteria. We furnished different quiet places for you on the entire area. Either on one of the different terraces close to the house, on the meadow at the pool, or on a hammock under Mangos or in the Maurian Corner with wonderful view over the valley of the Rio Velez and the Mediterranean, you will find your place to recover from the hustle of everyday life.

Who needs occasional training can go for a swim in the 7×12m pool, make a mountain bike tour or go hiking in the surrounding hills and mountains.

Our Finca is covered with wireless access to the Internet. This service is free for our guests.

Our B&B was built in the year 2002 in the Andalusian architectural style in form of an old farmstead. The timber ceilings with the visible beams, the small wooden windows with wings and the clay coloured flooring underline the typically rustic style of the building.

Altogether we have four spacious guestrooms, all with bath en suite (shower and WC). The rooms are coloured differently and decorated individually, of course there are Satellite-TV (CNBC-Europe and CNN), fan (in winter heating), two armchairs and a double bed (1,80 x 2,00!). A high-quality feather/spring core mattress and a blanket for people from north Europe guarantee a pleasant rest.

You book your rooms incl. a rich and individual breakfast, which will be served from 09:00-10:00 a.m. Depending on weather conditions either in our cosy dining room or on the shady terrace under a large palm tree. For those guests who prefer to stay at the premises all day we gladly prepare a small lunch .

Visiting one of the numerous Bars and fish restaurants in the area is a must. Nevertheless we also like to cook from time to time some dinner. We serve e.g. a delicious Paella, or a BBQ with fish or meat with a tasty country wine from the region.

Drinks and snacks are available in self service around the clock.

We are a Swiss / Finnish couple and are glad to introduce You to this beautiful part of Andalucia. We regularly travelled in this area since over 20 years. Finally our dream came true and we had the chance to open this beautiful B&B.

Casa Miranda is situated on the eastern edge of the Subbetica National Park which offers visitors a whole range of activities such as walking, hiking, cycling, painting, birdwatching are just some of the things to do on offer. Priego de Cordoba the nearest town to Casa Miranda just 10kms offers plenty to see, historical buildings, churches and one of the largest fountains inSpain boasting 325 fonts. There is also the castle or walk through the narrow streets of the Barrio and admire the stunning flower displays hanging from the white washed houses. There are plenty of bars and resturants where you can try the local tapas or enjoy traditional spanish meals. Shops there are plenty along with supermarkets. Cordoba and Granada are within a hour to a halfs drive from Casa Miranda so we are a ideally based. The Via Verde offers 96kms of easy walking on what was once the olive railway line winding it’s way through Luque, Cabra, Zuhuros, Dona Mencia and Lucena. Montilla the wine producing area just an hour from Casa Miranda gives guests the opportunity to try the vino at one of the many roadside bodegas before buying, or visit La Rambla the ceramic producing town where you can go and watch the ceramics being made and purchase items from factory shops at greatly reduced prices.

Casa Miranda offers guests comfortable affordable accommodation with home from home hospitality in stunning surroundings. Situated in one of Andalucia’s little white washed villages El Poleo just 10 kms from the Baroque town of Priego de Cordoba. The views from the Casa are quite beautiful taking in acres of olive groves and three sierras and other little villages. The rooms all have en-suites with ceiling fans, hairdryers and tea/coffee making facilities and are comfortably furnished. The price per room includes a continental breakfast which consists of cerals, yoghurts, fresh fruit, toast, fresh bread, jams and marmalade, cold meats and cheese with tea, coffee and fruit juice. During the warm weather this is served in our dinning area on the terrace where guests can take in the views.
We are ideally place to visit the Mesquita in Cordoba and the Alhambra in Granada. The area offers plenty of variety for different tastes for walkers, cyclists,birdwatchers and artists and for those who like historical buildings there are plenty to see. What ever you decide to do you will not be disappointed, Andalucia has many hidden jewels to be discovered.
