Big”No”To Catral Motorway

Last Monday in Catral there was a large demonstration by residents who were protesting against proposals for the AP-37 motorway to go by the town .The road building scheme could see as many as 10 homes pulled down in Catral alone .It would also pass through other rural communities ,causing havoc there as well.The meeting was led by the Mayor of Catral and his councillor for town planning.The Mayor told the 300 or more people who were in the Casa de Cultura that they would do everything that they
