Benidorm Blaze

Five thousand people were evacuated in Benidorm last week when a forest blaze erupted at the base of the Sierra Helada. The local police reported the blaze at around 4pm near the Sierra Helada scholl which luckily was closed .Because of the high winds and the high temperatures the fire advanced very rapidly .Consequently two tanker planes and two helicopters were called in to fight the blaze.Visitors to the Aqualandia park were evacuated as a precaution as were about 45 homes with around 250 r
